You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent performing duties that include: Provide clerical and administrative support to managers, supervisors, and staff members in a law enforcement program Establish and review case files to determine status of proceedings and taking appropriate action to close out the file or direct onward Prepare a variety of forms, notices, documents, and legal paperwork, including warrants and records of proceedings Prepare travel documents and making travel arrangements for domestic and/or international travel Integrates several types of software, such as spreadsheets, databases, and work processing to generate specific working documents and forms. Review bond cases to determine status and identify appropriate action to continue, cancel, or breach and submit for supervisory review. In addition to the qualification requirements above, individuals must meet the following: Typing Proficiency: Applicants must be able to type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample, with 3 or fewer errors. Applicants may meet these requirements by passing the appropriate performance test, presenting a certificate of proficiency from a school or other organization authorized to issue such certificates by the Office of Personnel Management local office, or by self-certifying their proficiency. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
