Duties
Assembles/disassembles cubicles to include creating or working from complex drawings as a layout of the entire floor plan, ensuring assembly is consistent with safety standards, local standards, and manufacturing standards.
Performs basic repair of mechanical locks as directed by site Security Officer
Read and comprehend sketches, work orders, and complex systems furniture blueprints.
Resolves problems in the installation and repair of systems furniture and non modular furniture. Assembles, delivers and performs
limited repairs to office type furniture that is not modular in nature.
Performs work with a variety of hand, power tools and heavy lifting equipment such as drills, planes,
screwdrivers, fasteners, power saws, fork lift, power pallet jack, and hand trucks.

- Must be a U.S Citizen or National
- Registered for Selective Service (males born after 12-31-1959)

Qualifications
Qualifications: Applicants will be rated in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed, and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties at the level for which you are applying must be demonstrated through your ability to do the work of a Furniture Installer receiving general instruction from supervision; Ability to do the work of a Furniture Installer without more than normal supervision. Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic). Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, (includes blueprinting reading), Measurement and Layout. Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
