This position for The Defense Information Systems Agency is at SS/Office of the Director/Video Production Section, Fort Meade, Maryland.
The Defense Information Systems Agency's Visual Information team is looking for a highly skilled video producers who has been focused on the video and film storytelling and discipline for at least the time at their previous employer.
Duties
Plans, design and coordinate the development and distribution of visual and information products to have the desired effect on the intended audience.
Edits scripts for content and production feasibility to ensure acceptable quality and compliance with agency protocols and policies.
Performs a wide variety of multi-disciplined tasks in assembling visual materials and developing, producing, and directing visual information presentations for the Joint Staff, DISA, and other DoD agencies.
Plans and organize audiovisual projects, including providing assistance to narrators, speakers, and others to ensure quality production to meet training objectives.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Travel up to 50% of the time
Qualifications
Basic Requirement:
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position. Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis.
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-11 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-09 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-11, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-09 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience in filming, lighting and editing high-impact visual communications that support an agency's mission and strategic goals.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position. Education
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE AT GS-11 LEVEL: Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
