You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will serve as NIWC Pacific's Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Performance Manager.
You will provide advice and guidance to officials in support of performance development assistance (PDA).
You will review the reconsideration requests for validity in accordance with policy requirements.
You will assist officials in the development of performance expectations letters to clarify expected performance and contribution requirements.
You will serve as a consultant in providing advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees on employee relation issues.
You will gather background information, and identify and/or interpret facts/events and aggravating or mitigating factors relevant to the case.
You will advise and assist in the areas of discipline, adverse actions, grievances, and related functions including appropriate options for proper resolution of conflicts or problems.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Collecting and analyzing performance data and metrics; providing technical advice, policy development and interpretation to senior level management on performance management cycle and performance awards, and providing advice and guidance on employee relations services such as discipline, adverse actions , grievances, and/or employee counseling.
