As a Supervisory Budget Analyst within the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Water Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

Qualifications

For GS-12: Applicants must meet the following to qualify for the GS-12 level: One year of specialized experience in or directly related to this position that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. To be creditable, the required specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Examples of GS-11 level work: Compiling and communicating fiscal information, orally and in writing to peers and higher level government officials, including the development of formats for reports, studies and charts; Completing budget schedules and work sheets and consulting with program officials with regard to those items that need interpretation, clarification or additional support; Preparing financial analyses to support the budget estimation process; Working with the financial system and understanding its relationship to the budget process for reporting, analysis and review of programs; Inputting and maintaining funding control data in the financial system, ensuring that the information is consistent with apportionments. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements for the position by the closing date of the announcement.

Education
