As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Position is a Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector (Front Line Manager) for the Denver Flight Standards District Office.

Duties

Serves as a Front-Line Manager within the Denver FSDO who reports to a middle manager. Executes the Agency's aviation safety mission, while accepting responsibility for being active in communicating and building change coalitions, seeking out opportunities to involve their teams in supporting change across the organization, and employing best practices for sponsoring change and managing resistance.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements For All Positions:General Requirements for All Positions:Not more than two separate incidents involving Federal aviation regulations violations in the last 5 years;Valid State driver's license;Fluency in the English language;No chemical dependencies or drug abuse that could interfere with job performance; andHigh school diploma or equivalent.Medical Requirements for All Positions:Applicants must be physically able to perform the duties of the Aviation Safety Inspector position in a safe and efficient manner, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
