You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) in the Manpower Management Division of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will perform thorough reviews of Enlisted Remedial Selection Board requests. You will investigate and use interpretive skills to determine/justify eligibility for requests. You will prepare records in preparation for release to protect confidential material for consideration. You will be the lead coordinator, facilitator and senior recorder responsible for ensuing fairness and equitable considerations. You will prepare official correspondences and messages addressing respective commands. You will ensure final actions are documented in case files and files are appropriately archived.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector advising, researching, and reviewing military personnel records either for assignment placement or separations and retirement or promotion determinations for career progression. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
