About the Position: This position is within the Logistics Division of the Directorate of Supply and Transportation (DST) located at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Duties
Maintain an automated property book for supply transactions in logistic systems.
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports on assigned cost center property availability.
Prepare inventory reports regarding the status of supply actions.
Prepare adjustments in inventory records.
Conduct studies on items recorded in the property book for relative item data.
Provide supply officers and hand receipt holders with status of supply actions.
Research data inaccuracies to resolve supply problems.
Research supply catalogs to consolidate like items under the same stock number.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to (10 to 30 lbs.) in the regular performance of duties.
- This position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment provided by the employer such as protective clothing or gear such as safety glasses, safety shoes, or hearing protection.
- Must complete a probationary period of one year.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) utilizing supply policies; 2) researching discrepancies in physical inventories; AND 3) utilizing various software/automation tools related to supply management This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade level in the federal service (GS-06).
