This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce- Positions in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, including technician positions within the Defense Acquisition Workforce, to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
Develop quality standards, conducting tests and identifying issues in the production of our products or services.
Utilize a series of techniques, strategies, policies, and resources to ensure that integrity, quality, and reliability are maintained for each research project.
Review the technical base and advanced development products and processes to ensure the quality and acceptability of data presented to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Review study protocols, informed consent documents, and case report forms (CRFs) to ensure test plans encompass all required test elements, data parameters, test objectives.
Ensure compliance with FDA current Good Clinical Practice (cGCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and/or current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a secret clearance.
- A three year probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

WRAIR is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Personnel Demonstration Project (PDP). The DB-03 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13 Step 01 to GS-14 Step 10. This position has promotion potential to the DB-04, which is equivalent to the GS-15 Step 01 to the GS-15 step 10.
