You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of SUBMARINE READINESS SQUADRON THREE FOUR.
Duties
You will provide technical expertise in logistics, inventory, and financial management, as related to automated supply, to submarines and shore commands through on-site assistance and implementation.
You will provide the expertise necessary to process Automated Shore Interface products for submarines.
You will manage and track funding allocations for the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) program for staff and assigned units to ensure accounts are properly funded for obligated GCPC procurement actions.
You will provide direct support to assigned submarines including passing requisition status as needed to assist units in managing Material Outstanding File (MOF) and ensuring material movement occur as needed to support submarines operations.
You will provide direct oversight and function as the inventory manager of all material procured and maintained by the command necessary for waterfront support.
You will develop lesson plans and provides training on new automated systems and programs available to submarines and shore commands.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience utilizing supply and logistics management programs, and systems (such as STARS, RSupply, One-Touch, WebVLIPS, etc.) to maximize productivity as well as forecast, analyze, and resolve issues.
Experience applying U.S. Navy regulations pertaining to the proper management of submarine store division operations including receipt, issuance, and storage of onboard repair parts and use of applications supporting the submarines.
Experience optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of supply operations to support the submarine force mission by complying with all certification/training requirements to perform in the capacity as an Approving Official and Certifying Official for the GCPC program.
Experience interpreting and applying U.S. Navy specifications and regulations pertaining to logistics and financial management of staff and supported afloat units.
Experience enforcing Navy shipboard hazardous material policies, instructions, and procedures.
Experience analyzing specifications, procedures, and organizational responsibilities associated with aspects of supply management of Navy ships.
Experience developing and implementing formal Navy training techniques involving but not limited to Submarine Force's Continuing Training Manual (CTM), Continuing Training Support Software (CTSS), and the Force Training Toolbox.
