About the Position: This is a Training Technician(OA) position located at the 101st NCO Academy, Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell is located within portions of four counties: Montgomery County and Stewart County in Tennessee and Christian County and Trigg County in Kentucky. The largest adjacent city is Clarksville, Tennessee. Other nearby communities includes Hopkinsville, Oak Grove and Cadiz, Kentucky and Dover, Tennessee.
Duties
Serves as records manager for the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS).
Works under the general supervision of the Chief of Training, FT Campbell NCO Academy to provide policy guidance and functional assignments.
Serves as a Training Technician with the responsibility of monitoring class schedules and managing distribution and fill for training seats for a US Army NCO Academy.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- SECRET CLEARANCE - This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) utilizing a variety of office automated systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS and Digital Training Management System (DTMS) for current students; 2) assisting in the development of data to support training products and other requirements of the training program; AND 3) editing and reorganize materials to ensure that information is presented in a clear and logical form to ensure standards are met. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
