As a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) you will be responsible for coordinating multiple clinical research trials and participating in the planning, coordination, and technical evaluation of clinical studies related to pain. The CRC supports the clinical staff develop, implements, and maintains clinical research data files and materials.
Duties
Participate in developing and maintaining research protocol documentation and operations.
Collect research data and prepare information for input and analysis.
Assist staff to develop and assemble related documentation and maintain regulatory binders for all protocols.
Perform accurate and timely data analysis, report results and findings and respond to sponsor queries.
Assist researchers to plan and coordinate the initiation of research study protocol and the implementation of operating policies and procedures.

Qualifications
You qualify at the GS-11 level, if you meet both of the following qualification requirements:
Education Requirement:
In order to qualify for a Clinical Research Coordinator, GS-0601 position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree, or graduate/higher level degree with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of this position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
In addition, in order to qualify for a Clinical Research Coordinator, 0601 at the GS-11 level, you must have:
A. completed 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or, have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field; OR
B. at least 1 year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 level in the Federal Government obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: aiding staff in the collection, development, and quality control of essential clinical research efforts; assisting in the preparation of comprehensive reports of project results; assist with clinical studies to include subject enrollment, scheduling outpatient appointments, and inpatient admissions; and supporting clinical staff by reviewing protocol and studies for regulatory compliance, patient safety, and maintaining clinical data files and materials. OR
C. a combination of graduate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
