About the Position: The incumbent of this position will serve as the Command Chief Data/Technology Officer (CDO/CTO) for Headquarters, US Army Central (HQUSARCENT). The CTO will lead the technology team in the design, development, and implementation of innovative technology solutions that align with the organizational goals and objectives.

Duties

Serves as the Command Chief Data/Technology officer for HQ Army Central. Advises peers and senior leadership on current data analytic/technology posture and recommends resolution to any identified gaps. Responsible for managing, directing, executing, overseeing, and implementing data policies and strategy across the command. Identifies new and emerging technologies that can remedy gaps or improve processes within the organization. Responsible for the execution of operational, administrative, and personnel management responsibilities relation to the assigned mission. Performs full range of supervisory duties such as approving leave, composing performance standards and measuring performance, mentoring subordinates, etc.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementData ManagementLeadershipTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
