About the Position: Performs technical supply work involved in monitoring the supply readiness of subordinate organizations and identifying potential problems and corrective actions needed.
Duties
Assists in and/or maintains the property book to reflect all items of property, repair parts, and components received, issued or otherwise disposed.
Provides training to subordinate units in the operation of supply systems.
Compiles information and prepares a variety of monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual reports.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Motor Vehicle operator’s license is required.
- TDY Travel is required 25% of the time.
- A secret clearance will be required.
- A one-year probation period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Experience maintaining a property book to reflect things such as items of property, repair parts, and components; AND
2) Experience using supply systems such as Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) (Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A); AND
3) Gathering information and prepares a variety of reports.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
