This position is located at Hobson Recreation Center at Presidio of Monterey. This position has been approved as an exception to the Dual Compensation policy. In addition to being open to the public, regular full-time, part- time and intermittent current Appropriated and Nonappropriated Funds employees are eligible to apply.

Duties

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to ensure service is satisfactory. Receives and resolves customer complaints. Provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment using Point of Sale (POS) system; provides safety instruction, demonstrates new equipment. Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be able to work varying shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation.
