This National Guard position is for a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Coordinator (SAR WF) (Title 5), Position Description Number T5668000 and is part of the J9 located at Camp Williams UT, with the UTNG. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Have least 1 year specialized experience as a GS-0101-09? Must submit SF 50. OR have at least 36 months experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge of state sexual assault program administration, policies and practices in order to provide technical assistance to answer questions, solve problems, and explain issues. Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of sexual assault prevention and response, executive orders, laws, regulations and policies, and relevant decisions to recognize and prevent sexual assault, and to make technical recommendations for decisions in resources and response for sexual assault cases. Skilled in managing a program, to include organizing an office, problem solving, motivating others to take necessary actions, and negotiating allocation of resources for the program which is primarily the amount of the budget and the allocation of part-time victim advocates. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structure to include, functional assignments to subordinate organizations, nature of their missions, and work force composition. As well as have expert speaking and writing skills to perform effective presentations, conduct training seminars, communicate with federal, state and local agencies, and medical facilities.

Education

Certified department of Defense Sexual Asault Advocate Certification or within 12 months of hire
