You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Capacity Management Division of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.

Duties

You will conduct wholesale/retail/supply/transportation and cost benefit analytical analyses in support of distribution management operations. You will promote improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of Marine Corps transportation systems. You will develop functional guidance for new systems and for system modifications.. You will represent the organization at meetings to surface and resolve problems. You will coordinate training and educational requirements.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing supply operations developing new methods and procedures to resolve problems and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Analyzing program policies regarding complex or sensitive issues and their relationship to other supply management functions. Analyzing financial reports to recommend solutions to supply chain management issues. Performing business process analysis for the development, design and documentation of supply programs and business processes. Utilizing supply related automated database systems to manage supply operations. Obtaining statistics from multiple data management systems (e.g., Supply Chain Management [SCM] operations) to identify trends and recommend corrective actions to appropriate managers. Analyzing financial reports to recommend solutions to supply chain management issues.
