About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 706th Military Intelligence Group, at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
THIS IS A DEVELOPMENTAL POSITION HIRING AT THE GG-09 ONLY WITH FULL PERFORMANCE LEVEL (FPL) TO THE GG-11 LEVEL.
Duties
Provide reports to leadership and works with representatives to ensure any requests are coordinated within the framework of the subject event, providing advice and assistance as needed and taking corrective action of unforeseen requirements.
Provides seasoned protocol advice and assistance to the Commander, high ranking officers, their families and staffs on matters pertaining to protocol and customs and all military services and customs and courtesies of other countries.
Conceptualizes, plans, and coordinates, complicated protocol support requirements for high-ranking officials within the United States Government and Foreign Nations deemed VIP status by NSA/CSS Georgia or the NSA Enterprise.

Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
- May be required to lift up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility forsensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 15% or less of the time.

Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting in planning official functions hosted by senior leadership for civilian and military dignitaries, such as ceremonies, changes of command, receptions, dinners, luncheons, and visits. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-07).Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. . in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration/Management (list is not all inclusive).

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
