About the Position: TACOM is located at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan which is in Detroit's largest suburb located about 15 miles north of downtown. The area offers world-class museums, art galleries, concert halls, golf courses, several prestigious universities, and collegiate and professional athletic venues.

Duties

Assists Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Director in the planning, establishing, directing, monitoring and analyzing of the total Command Civilian EEO program. Counsels managers, supervisors, and employees on-site to achieve insight and an understanding of problems contributing to discrimination or denial of equal opportunity. Provides for receipt, inquiry, negotiation, conciliation, analyses (statistical and verbal), adjustment of individual and class action complaints and age discrimination. Plans, develops, implements, analyzes, monitors, evaluates and coordinates assigned Special Emphasis Programs (SEP). Serves as Command representative and principal resource advisor regarding unique concerns and problems of assigned EEO groups employed or applying for employment.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
