Duties

This position is located under the Office of Field Operations in Birmingham, Alabama, Chicago, Illinois, Detroit, Michigan, Flint, Michigan, Franklin, Tennessee, Indianapolis, Indiana, Kansas City, Missouri, Knoxville, Tennessee, Little Rock, Arkansas, Saint Paul, Minnesota, Springfield, Illinois, and Springfield, Missouri.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-1805-7 candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-5. GS-7 You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-5 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Conducting basic investigative research; and Gathering and assembling material for use in routine reports; and Composing non-technical correspondence. OR Completion of 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement. OR A combination of graduate level education and experience. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application. To qualify for the GS-1805-9 candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-7. GS-9 You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Conducting analytical investigative research; and Assisting with trend analysis analyses and statistical studies for any organization; and Summarizing reports and extracting essential intelligence information to create cohesive reports. OR Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related OR A combination of graduate education and experience.
