This position is located in Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, in the Facility Management Division.
Duties
Coordinates with park staff in developing projects in the Project Management Information System (PMIS). This includes coordinating Facility Management System Software (FMSS) work orders, reviewing park prepared PMIS for accuracy, and independently develops and prepares facility projects in PMIS.
Oversee the work of lower-graded facility services assistants, or other administrative support staff who perform data entry, such as entering employee biweekly work order activities and purchases into FMSS, and who also perform other clerical support work.
Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on contracts. Observe contractor progress and quality of work to ensure contract specifications are met. Identify and report error or omissions in contract documents.
Develop project based on work orders that include scope of work, facility data, cost estimates, prioritization of work assignments, and scheduled start and completion dates for each task and the project.
Manages the FMSS system and serve as the Park Account Manager and the liaison for Park divisions and system units for the FMSS program.

To qualify for this position at the GS-11 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement:
EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: preparing and managing asset, condition assessments for a park, recreational area, or similar facility by identifying, planning and recording in a software system, such as the Facility Management Software System (FMSS); documenting deferred maintenance, inventory, and condition data; developing and monitoring a facility management asset documentation process; assisting in project development through the use of an automated system such the Project Management Information System (PMIS). You must include hours per week worked.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least 3 full years of progressively higher graduate level education or PhD or equivalent graduate degree related to the occupation, or LL.M., if related; other closely related subjects pertinent to the position such as business management, parks and recreation management, engineering, or construction or in another field of study directly related to the duties of this position. Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. To combine education and experience, first take your graduate education, divide your number of semester hours in excess of 36 semester hours by 18 or the number your school uses to represent one year of full time graduate academic study. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

accredited institution with your name, school name, credit hours, course level, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking.
