This BASE SERVICES SPECIALIST position, is located within the Force Support Squadron of the Mission Support Group at an Air National Guard wing and is part of the CA 144 FW.

Duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the BASE SERVICES SPECIALIST, GS-0301-9, is to analyze and coordinate Base Services functions in support of federal, state, and local missions. The incumbent serves as a point-of-contact for Services-related programs, missions, functions, activities, and events for the wing and its assigned geographically separated units (GSU).

Qualifications

General Experience: Possess experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration; Experience using computer and automation systems. BASE SERVICES SPECIALIST, GS-0301-9: Must have at least 24 months experience, education or training in any position that required compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information; Experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled; Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management; Experience developing administrative procedures.
