You will serve as a AIR TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the DON, Navy Air Logistics Office of COMNAVAIRLOGSUPWNG.
Duties
You will collect, analyze, and report on diverse and pertinent information concerning the scheduling of Navy Unique Fleet Essential Aircraft (NUFEA), and make operational and policy recommendations to higher authority.
You will Summarizing monthly logistics data and analyzing trends in the use of global Navy airlift in the Operational Summary Report (OPSUM).
You will ensure ease of scheduling and obtain the greatest mission economy by evaluating government contract aviation fuel providers and terminal operations at all airfields utilized.
You will prepare written reports, as required, on data analyzed.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience moving cargo and passengers aboard aircrafts.
Experience studying and analyzing problems involved in aircraft management and scheduling.
Experience proposing solutions to higher authorities based on sound management, judgments, and technical considerations.
Experience analyzing policies and directives to generate reports for compliance and to extract information from large amounts of data.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE
SUCCESSFUL completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.M. if related.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be combined to meet the total qualification requirements.
