This job opportunity is for an INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE TECHNICIAN, position description T5429000, within the State Surgeon Office of the New Jersey National Guard. The purpose of the position is to plan, schedule, manage, and administer a Industrial Hygiene/Bioenvironmental Engineering Program, which includes occupational health hygiene, radiation safety, and environmental monitoring to maintain the health and well-being of military and technician personnel.

Qualifications

General Experience: Experience, education, or training which provided a basic knowledge of principles and practices related to occupational health programs. Specialized Experience: Must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training which provided a working knowledge of missions, organizations, programs and requirements of health care delivery systems. Experience developing and implementing various policies and procedures used in the state medical programs. Experience involving various administrative areas such as budget, personnel and public relations within a medical activity.

Education

The applicant should at least be a high school graduate and have certifications/training or experience in industrial health.
