This National Guard position is for a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (32), Position Description Number D1797000 and is part of the AR ANG 153 ITL SQ, National Guard.

Duties
1. Serves as a Targeting Intelligence Analyst responsible for maintaining Targeting production policy guidelines and definitions of quality standards for an extensive array of diverse and collaborative Targeting application functions. These applications may include but are not limited to imagery analysis, Basic Target Development (BTD), Target System Analysis (TSA), Intermediate Target Development (ITD) work sheets, Target Graphics (TG), weaponeering, Precise Point Mensuration (PPM), Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE), Terminal Area Modeling (TAM), Dynamic Targeting (DT), Combat Assessment (CA), operations support, and Targeting product data-basing. Provides and maintains expert Targeting analysis process continuity and corporate knowledge regarding all aspects of Targeting applications to include, but not limited to Digital Imagery Exploitation Engine (DIEE), Joint Weaponeering System (JWS), Integrated Munitions Effects Assessment (IMEA), and Common Geopositioning Services (CGS).
2. Required to maintain a working knowledge of USAF, Joint and ACC regulations and manuals pertaining to conventional weapons employment, Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manuals (JMEM), and ongoing CONPLANs and OPLANs relevant to Targeting planning and execution. Maintains knowledge of Targeting application software improvements/updates and facilitates new version releases. Coordinates with the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) to orchestrate testing and integration of new technology into Targeting software tools; ensures no interference with current production operations. Plans, coordinates, and develops procedures, as required, to implement staff guidance received from the JTCG/ME, DoD, NGA, USAF, IC partners, and major commands regarding TSA production, ITD production, ATD production, Combat Assessment production, and TAM Modeling production issues. Ensures products are compiled using approved sources, methods and equipment, and meet required operational specifications. Responsible for directing and coordinating all scheduled and nonscheduled production of assigned Targeting productions efforts.
3. Manages and conducts the Intelligence Squadron Targeting training program. Organizes and trains reserve status analysts to meet the need of the Targeting Enterprise for Total Force Integration. Develops Air Force Targeting training curriculum and conducts Targeting training using approved materials, methodology, and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP). Teaches applications that may include but are not limited to Basic Target Development, Target System Analysis, Intermediate Target Development, Advanced Target Development, Terminal Area Modeling, Dynamic Targeting, Imagery Analysis, All Source Analysis, and Quality Control to production squadron analysts. Identifies and develops new training procedures to ensure quality assurance standards or software or methodology changes for the production of finished targeting intelligence products exceed required weapon system delivery guidelines and are in compliance with applicable CJCSI Standards and Manuals, as well as Target Intelligence Standards. Establishes in-residence training schedule and develop production squadron annual training plan. Coordinates regularly with other USAF target intelligence squadrons to ensure standardization and compliance with Air Combat Command and 363 ISR Group targeting training guidance.
4. Provide Targeting liaison capability with squadron-aligned customers. Participates in worldwide exercises and real-world contingencies with squadron-aligned mission planners to provide Targeting expertise and execution-ready Targeting products for the supported organization. Analyzes target lists and accompanying data including imagery and intelligence reports to determine the best application of weapons. Target selection and deselection is often based on their knowledge of the various Air Force weapons and target vulnerability. Ensures squadron is capable of operating, rapidly producing and disseminating finished Targeting intelligence products via reach back operations.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Requirements: Experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Use the Office of Personnel Management Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions Specialized Experience time requirements of 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Specialized experience is experience that prepares the applicant to perform the duties of the position.
