You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist, Human Resources Development (HRD) in the Civilian Career Management Section, Civilian Workforce Management Branch, Manpower Plans and Policy Division, Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will discuss program effort phases, progress of work, and administrative matters, and consult on matters affecting general policy. You will assist in the development and implementation of policies, processes, resources, and tools that support strategic human capital planning and management efforts. You will provide strategic Human Resource advisory support and guidance to key stakeholders in areas of responsibility with views toward improving program productivity and reliability. You will perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of various workforce demographics and career management data to develop and propose new and updated policies and programs.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and implementing policies, plans, and processes to ensure the effectiveness and success of human resources programs.
