Duties

You will lead conferences or meetings to influence decision making. You will document material and labor requirements for planned maintenance. You will conduct assessment reviews on project strategies to improve goals, timelines, or execution. You will make recommendations for addressing and correcting deficiencies. You will interpret facilities maintenance policies and procedures to meet mission objectives. You will administer directives, policies, and procedures pertaining to facilities maintenance inspections.

  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing facilities maintenance support including maintenance, repair and construction services for facility structures and associated electrical and mechanical systems; Performing services for emergency, urgent or routine service work orders and projects of greater scope and construction work; Managing the operation of a production division, production processes that include planning, estimating, material procurement, scheduling, work execution and quality control; Representing an organization at customer meetings and conferences; Using maintenance processes and techniques to execute services; Serving as quality technical advisor of projects; Enforcing all safety and organizational rules, regulations, and requirements governing the maintenance, repair, renovation, remodeling, and renewal of real property assets; Reviewing and interpreting engineering plans and specifications, and planning and carrying out duties independently by determining the scope and level based on requirements, and established priorities.
