About the Position: Serves as Headquarters expert on munitions modernization initiatives for ammunition facilities. Applies expert knowledge of logistics functions to conduct long range studies to identify problems and provide solutions dealing with ammunition base readiness, base modernization, and single point failures. Based on findings, develops and prepares technical responses to issues affecting the Command.

Duties

Serves as Headquarters expert on munitions policies and procedures for management and modernization initiatives. Serve as the designated munitions logistics supply support project officer. Exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with ammunition materiel enterprise representatives. Prepare briefings for command leadership, Department of the Army and visitors.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Percentage of time to be spent Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is 25%.
• May be required to complete one year probationary period
