You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) in the OFFICE OF THE JUDGE ADVOCATE GENERAL (OJAG) of NLSC.
Duties
You will provide daily operational IT support to the command for system administration, database administration, systems analysis, customer support, and project management.
You will serve as the main point of contact for the ticketing system and will be responsible for the lifecycle replacements of IT hardware.
You will assist with setting up office teleconferencing and audio/video equipment prior to conferences.
You will maintain accurate inventories of IT assets to include laptops, desktops, tablets, phones, routers, switches, and access points.
You will assist with courtroom technologies to monitor the wireless networks and audio qualty.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Technical Support level I within 12 months of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
GS-13 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Presenting IT support topics regarding strategy, goals, objectives, and work products to diverse audiences; 2) Monitoring IT workload to ensure priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality are met; 3) Identifying, researching, and proposing opportunities to improve efficiency of technical solutions; and 4) Managing accurate inventories of equipment through a ticketing system; and 5) Providing technical assistance to external customers and other IT professionals to minimize the disruption of computer operations, troubleshooting, escalation, and tracking of IT problems.
GS-12 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and maintaining IT standardized practices and methodologies to support client business processes; 2) Providing technical assistance to customers on computer operations, network, operating systems, and user provisioning; 3) Writing technical correspondence to technical and nontechnical customers; and 4) Utilizing a ticketing system to plan and track workload.
