This position is located at Parks Reserve Training Area Recreation Center at Camp Parks, CA.

Duties

Provides technician support by performing a wide variety of direct library services to the public. (Register patrons, charge/discharge materials, interlibray loans and reserves, cataloging and shelving materials, assisting customers, etc.) Assists in submitting help desk tickets for automated information system. Assists in maintaining accountability records and in performing shelf inventories. Performs simple maintenance on the library's automated systems and troubleshooting of local stand-alone workstations to determine cause of failure on equipment.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Shift will include 8:00-5:00 Monday-Friday. Occasional nights and weekends for training and special events will be required.

Qualifications

Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade. OR Two years of education above high school. OR A combination of specialized experience and education that equates to 100% of the qualification requirements. Highly Preferred criteria: All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be demonstrated in your resume to get credit. Work experience managing a computer lab. Experience planning activities/events. Experience developing pricing estimates/purchase requests.
