This position is part of the Defense Media Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for providing mission support worldwide to DoD and other U.S. government agency communication and operational missions with the right imagery in the right place at the right time by providing an enabling architecture to synchronize and integrate the various DoD imagery capabilities and centrally manage current and historical visual information.
Duties
As a Customer Service Representative at the GS-0303-7 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as customer service representative in answering phones and answers a wide variety of inquiries.
Engages with customer to evaluate requirements and ensure complete resolution of all service desk inquiries.
Interprets and applies regulations, policies, and procedures to perform a variety of customer service to support duties.
Uses computer skills to manage information, create documents and track ticketing information in support customer service operations.
Performs or monitors transactions, track outstanding requests, verify pertinent information, and make necessary changes to existing data.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-GS-07, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service:
Answering telephone calls or E-mails, providing information to customer while identifying customer needs and recommend proactive solutions to meet customer mission requirements.
Using a variety of computer hardware and software to perform a wide variety of customer support and visual information order fulfillment functions.
Engaging with customer to ensure complete resolution of all service desk inquiries.
Using automated systems to create and track customer interaction documentation used for tracking, feedback, and reporting purposes.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
