Duties
-Provide support for the effective formulation, planning, measurement, analysis, execution, evaluation and reporting of the Grand Coulee operations, maintenance and engineering program. Facilities include major dam, power plant, switchyard, reservoir, and auxiliary equipment and supporting infrastructure, e.g., buildings, lands, and structures (hierarchy).
-This position will assist in managing the Capital Asset and Resource Management Application (CARMA) as the maintenance management system to maintain Field Office assets. CARMA includes the Commercial Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software MAXIMO.
Qualifications
In order to be rated as qualified for this position, the HR Office must be able to determine that you meet the education and/or specialized experience requirement - this information must be clearly supported in the resume.
To qualify at the GS-05, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-04 level in federal service. Specialized experience at this level is defined as computer-related experience including using computer programs to: run queries; devise spreadsheets; manipulate data into reports and statistics; and/or track work progress of an office.
OR
You could otherwise qualify on the basis of Education having 4 years above high school.
OR
You may combine specialized experience and education to meet the minimum qualifications. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.
To qualify at the GS-06, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-05 level in federal service. Specialized experience at this level is defined as experience performing maintenance management work such as assisting with creating work orders and scheduling maintenance and/or constructions projects; assisting with monitoring and adjusting work orders; experience using an automated maintenance management software program.
To qualify at the GS-07, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-06 level in federal service. Specialized experience at this level is defined as experience that included maintaining and coordinating schedules for maintenance and/or repair of a major facility; monitoring and adjusting work orders; and/or collecting and recording data for central files; and/or responding to oral and written requests regarding ; and editing /creating documents for review OR experience using an automated maintenance management software program for a power generating plant or equivalent industrial, commercial or military facility. Experience may also include skill in using an automated time keeping system and performing bank/credit card program coordination.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education
This vacancy announcement allows substituting education for experience at the GS-05 grade level. You must submit a copy of college transcript(s) (unofficial copy is acceptable) to support claimed education if substituting education for experience. Transcripts must include the name of the college or university and date the degree was conferred. A typed list of courses, grades, semester/quarter hours, GPA, etc. will not be accepted. Non-submission may result in being rated not-qualified for the position.
You will be required to provide official college transcripts to verify educational qualifications, if selected. An official transcript must be sent directly from the University's Registrar's office and must be provided from the institution awarding the degree.
