Performs scheduling duties in support of project management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects/programs. A member of the district project controls team, provide services to the district's portfolio of projects such as planning, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, change management and risk assessment. Manage and process each project and/or program schedule using professional project portfolio management software and established Project Delivery Business Processes.
Duties
Review and analyze information and products received from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Establishes, maintains, and enforces project standards and monitors for conformance.
Tracks trends in resource usage and evaluates district projects to ensure they are conducted within the capacity of the organization.
Prepare and develop reports that assess status of project funds and interim milestones allocated to District elements, consistent with scheduled work.
Measures and monitors performance (earned value, metrics, and other project management performance methods).
Documents and tests local procedures established to enhance effectiveness of the PMBP. Trains district employees in program requirements associated with the Project Delivery Business Process (PDBP) and its related software (PROMIS).
Analyze project and contract schedules and performance to identify critical activities, sequences, and timelines.
Prepares formal and informal presentations pertaining to projects/programs in areas of responsibility for Project Managers, PDTs, customers/sponsors/stakeholders, District Commander, PRB, supervisors, senior technical staff, and employees.
Conduct statistical analysis of data to identify trends, current issues and future risks impacting program/project execution.

GS-11 Specialized Experience:
I have one year of specialized experience such as: Effective coordination of the planning, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, change management, and risk assessment through the use of enterprise Automated Information Systems (AIS); conducts statistical analysis of data to identify and communicate trends, current issues, and future risks impacting program / project execution; developing methods to track execution and measure accomplishments and effectiveness of results; identifies systemic budgeting and scheduling problems and recommends policy or procedural revisions that will improve schedule and budget accomplishment.
GS-09 Specialized Experience:
I have one year of specialized experience under some supervision such as: Effective coordination of the planning, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, change management, and risk assessment through the use of enterprise Automated Information Systems (AIS); conducts statistical analysis of data to identify and communicate trends, current issues, and future risks impacting program / project execution; developing methods to track execution and measure accomplishments and effectiveness of results; identifies systemic budgeting and scheduling problems and recommends policy or procedural revisions that will improve schedule and budget accomplishment.
GS-07 Specialized Experience:
I have one year of specialized experience under normal supervision such as: Effective coordination of the planning, scheduling, resourcing, budgeting, change management, and risk assessment through the use of enterprise Automated Information Systems (AIS); conducts statistical analysis of data to identify and communicate trends, current issues, and future risks impacting program / project execution; developing methods to track execution and measure accomplishments and effectiveness of results; identifies systemic budgeting and scheduling problems and recommends policy or procedural revisions that will improve schedule and budget accomplishment.
