About the Position: Serves as an Information Security Security Manager (ISSM) for US Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Activity (USATA). Responsible for developing and enforcing a formal Command Information Assurance security and training program, and managing the Assess and Authorize (A&A) Process for USATA HQ and reporting TMDE Support Center (TSC) Programs.

Duties

Develop, implement, interpret and maintain policies, guidance, plans and programs, objectives, procedures, standards and criteria appropriate to manage an overall Information Assurance program for USATA Programs Conduct risk and vulnerability assessment of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs. Developing IT system security contingency plans. Prepare and write technical papers on information assurance architecture (e.g. system, network, and data protection software/hardware)
