You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Portfolio Analysis and Management Office within the Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) at NASA Headquarters. As a Program Analyst, you will manage the budget of one of ARMD's five programs through the formulation, justification, and execution of the budget.
Duties
Serve as the program analyst for one of five programs in Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate's Portfolio Analysis and Management Office.
Manage the assigned program’s budget throughout the formulation, justification, and execution processes.
Prepare resource data to support program presentations and responses to inquiries from office/program leadership.
Independently assess the program resource requirements and recommend budget changes as necessary to optimize financial performance and comply with appropriation direction.
Track and present monthly financial performance including issues and recommended solutions.
Communicate effectively with office and program leadership by providing budget presentation on a regular basis.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
Preparing and justifying program budgets, including managing data and compiling reports for large organizations;
Collaborating and communicating across a large organization to reach established program goals;
Planning, advocating, and monitoring budgets to ensure financial performance and adherence to applicable policies;
Reviewing and analyzing data (i.e., business, workforce, financial) to provide assessments and recommendations for action.
