This position is located in the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) Regional Headquarters, Administrative Management Division with bone vacancy in Anchorage, AK.

Duties
The working title for this position is Administration Management Program Chief. As an Administration Management Program Chief, you will perform the following:
Overseeing and directing all administrative programs of the region inclusive of the Human Resources Program, Procurement and Acquisition Program, Travel Program, Time and Attendance Program, Property Management Program, Records Management Program, Budget and Finance Program, Volunteer Program, Personnel Security Program, DEIA Program, and Performance and Recognition Program.
Ensuring the development, coordination, promulgation, and maintenance of mid-term and short-term plans, and procedures for the operation and support of the region.
Performing the full range of supervisory functions to include: setting priorities, assigning, and reviewing work; developing performance standards; providing feedback and evaluating performance; providing or arranging for training of subordinates; and developing leadership in employees through coaching and mentoring.
Engaging, coordinating, communicating, and directing administrative management policy and process directives at the national and interagency level.

EDUCATION: There is no positive education requirement for this position.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the next lower grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. This experience need not have been in the federal government.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify at the GS-14 level:
Applicants must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized
experience MUST include all of the following:
Providing services such as planning, budget, project management, human resources, property management, procurement, grants/coop agreement management, and travel expertise, administration, and advice to management; and
Determining goals, objectives, and best approach or solutions for resolving program shortfalls; and planning for long range program needs
