About the Position: This is a Permanent position with the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Serve as the Medical Services Account Officer, Hospital Treasurer, and senior technician responsible for all operations of the Medical Services Accounts Office. Maintain accuracy and accountability of all monetary transactions. Resolve questions on eligibility and applicable charges. Transmit delinquent accounts to appropriate agency for processing and collections. Prepare various correspondence, forms, and reports to support functions of Medical Services Accounts Office.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
  • Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
  • This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • This position may require a Level II Financial Management Certification within 24 Months of Entrance on Duty. The incumbent may be required to comply with all Department of Defense requirements for this certification.
