DCSA's Background Investigations (BI) Team is looking for a Supervisory Investigator to serve as one of four Regional Mission Directors. The selected candidate will manage and direct field operations within a multi-state region, with responsibility for multiple field offices tasked with conducting national security and suitability background investigations for DCSA. Duties

As a SUPERVISORY INVESTIGATOR (REGIONAL MISSION DIRECTOR), the incumbent will manage and direct field operations within a multi-state region, with responsibility for multiple field offices tasked with conducting national security and suitability background investigations for DCSA. The incumbent will be responsible for the efficient and cost effective workload management of the investigations program, ensuring DCSA is producing the highest quality investigations in order for customers to make the most informed adjudicative decisions; and for assisting in implementing transformational investigative policy, such as Trusted Workforce 2.0 and other national level initiatives. Qualifications

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-14 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for the GG-15 position includes: Expert knowledge of all aspects of the DCSA background investigations mission and associated National Security Policies, Executive Orders, DoD Directives, Federal Laws and analysis methods. Interpersonal skills to lead, foster commitment, influence, motivate and challenge others. Knowledge of DCSA mission, functions, and ability to project organizational requirements at all levels, in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to make sound, well-informed, and objective decisions while considering the impact and implications to National Security demonstrated Prioritize activity, set objectives, delegate work and ensure accountability of personnel. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1.
