About the Position:
Serves as Special Staff to the Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) Commander. As Senior CECOM Command Representative (SCR) to an AFSB, is responsible for representing CECOM in all matters pertaining to the operational readiness of unit owned / maintained Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance - Medical (CSISR-M) systems and associated programs, policies, and personnel.
Duties
Serve as the focal point for exchange of technical intelligence and information between ASC echelons, supported units, CSISR-M personnel in the field and the CSISR-M community
Advise the CECOM ILSC regarding the effectiveness of total support provided to units owning/maintaining CSISR-M systems and material and make recommendations as to how that assistance can be improved
Perform the full range of supervisory/managerial duties and responsibilities
Direct and evaluate investigations and special studies for various elements of CECOM on supported systems
Provide feedback concerning user problems on equipment performance as related to supply and maintenance, equipment malfunctions, design and manufacturing deficiencies

- One year supervisory probation period
- Position is Emergency Essential (EE) in support of the US Forces; must sign Department of Defense (DoD) Form 2365
- May be required to deploy to, and remain in, hostile zones during crisis situations or mobilization, which may require flying in military aircraft
- ill be required to live under field conditions: in tents consuming field rations such as Meals Ready to Eat (MREs)
- Single parents or families, where both parents are EE, are required to prepare and present their supervisor an approved family care plan
- May be required to travel 45% of the time
- May be on-call, work irregular hours, accompany the assigned unit during technical and training field exercises, and deploy to contingency areas
- The employee is required to sign a mobility agreement, Army Materiel Command (AMC) Form 2884, IAW AMC-Regulation (R) 700-19
- May be required to wear military type uniforms, Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE), and Chemical Defense Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Valid State driver’s license is required to obtain a military and/or international driver’s license for exercises, deployments, or assignment to a foreign duty station
- Must meet current physical and functional requirements IAW AMC-R 700-19 and the current Mission Operations Director (MOD)
- Responsible for ensuring no medical, dental, vision, or other health-related restrictions could prevent a deployment
- Must maintain all required immunizations
- Cannot be a Reserve Component or National Guard member subject to recall to active duty

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes leading teams through subordinate supervisors that deliver integrated communications-electronics support to their customers; formulating integrated communications-electronics support strategies by assessing technological needs and resources allocations required to accomplish the mission; managing resources for an organization through allocation, controlling costs, and/or maximizing return on investment; and establishing organizational policies, goals, and/or needs to external or partner organizations.
