You will serve as a STUDENT TRAINEE (ENGINEERING AID) in the GEOSPATIAL BRANCH of the PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTORATE of the MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.

Duties
You will assist with scanning, conversion, edit corrections and archive filing of as-built and historical engineering drawings.
You will make routine measurements, simple arithmetic computations and records specified data.
You will make prints from computer aided drafting and design layouts using the version of computer aided drafting (CAD) software.
You will conducts routine research for customer requested drawings contained in the archive drawing vault.
You will make prints from archived hard copy drawings utilizing specialized large format engineering coping equipment.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Applicants must also be enrolled in an Engineering Program and/or IT related field. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
The required education must lead to a bachelor's degree with specialization in or directly related to the field in which the student trainees will receive training on the job. The degree of specialization in this field must satisfy on graduation the specific educational requirements in the qualification standard for the corresponding two-grade interval positions.
