About the Position: Serves as the supervisor of the Processing Element responsible for implementing USMEPCOM and Department of Defense (DOD) policies and procedures for the processing of applicants for enlistment into the Armed Services. This is a permanent position.

Duties

Supervise assigned personnel in the section; responsible for processing applicants for military service. Properly accounts for workload reported in the Command’s automated system(s) is reconciled. Perform a variety of administrative support functions to support management requirements. Manage applicant files/records to include maintaining security of applicant PII and PHI.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position may require the incumbent to work an occasional Saturday and/or shift work.
  • Successful completion of applicable Military Health System (MHS) GENESIS Training is required in order to access the MHS GENESIS System
  • Position may require t temporary duty (TDY) business travel.
  • Position requires the skills of a qualified typist, able to utilize web-based software systems.
  • Position may require routine unscheduled overtime to accommodate fluctuations in workload based on the daily mission requirements.
