The selectee of this position serves as a Management Analyst. You will be responsible for analyzing existing procedures to identity more efficient and effective methods for accomplishing program objectives.
Duties
As a Management Analyst at the GS-0343-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Coordinating and planning special events, meetings, and conferences.
Providing advice and assistance to management on acquisition matters.
Assisting with maintaining property records and inventory and preparing property reports.
Reviewing and analyzing program data and preparing analytical and statistical reports.
Assisting in preparing briefing materials for management.

Qualifications
GS-13 TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0343-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience, which includes: 1) Serving as an analyst on various issues related to the organization, practices, and procedures; 2) Executing administrative guidance within the organization and providing resource-specific guidance as required; AND 3). Using quantitative and qualitative techniques for analyzing and measuring administrative and technical programs' effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
