About the Position: This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 13 months/years position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.
Duties
Issue organizational clothing and individual equipment (OCIE) based on organization assignment.
Document issue by entering the size and quantity into the computer by line and size.
Give technical instruction to assure quality workmanship.
Measure issue safety shoes and boots to authorized personnel.
Conduct ongoing quality assurance inspection of work in process to resolve problems related to warehousing operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Employee may be required to use safety equipment such as: safety shoes, gloves, aprons, safety glasses, goggles, hearing protectors,
or any other safety equipment that will preclude personal injury.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to
ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- Required to obtain and maintain Forklift operating certificate.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Warehousing and Stock Handling Worker~ without more than normal supervision. I can receive store and issue supplies and compile stock record of items using a property accounting software. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Work requires frequent bending, stooping, reaching overhead, lifting and handling items weighing up to 50 pounds. Works in a warehouse area and occasionally outside at training sites. Subject to cold, damp or hot weather conditions. Also exposed to possible injury from falling stock and mechanical equipment.
