You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist in the Defensive Ordnance Support Facility (C-750), Defensive Ordnance Countermeasures Branch (C-751), Weapons Repair Department (C-700), of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will be responsible for the Ordnance Information System - Retail (OIS-R), acting as the Data Base Administrator (DBA)/ Ammunition Administrator for the Defensive Ordnance Support Facility (DOSF).
You will create and process requisitions and create and transmit Ammunition Transaction Reports (ATRs).
You will perform system preventive maintenance and daily backup of OIS-R computer database.
You will coordinate the disposal of and track all suspended or condemned ordnance and associated components.
You will perform periodic audits with Quality Assurance personnel to confirm all required reports and documentation are on hand and current per ammunition administrative requirements.
You will participate in the formulation of procedures, which establish ordnance supple policies within the DOSF.
You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep electronic equipment and ordnance systems in reliable operation.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field Acquisition Level II. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Experience as a Data Base Administrator/Ammunition Administrator to plan, provision, and maintain total accountability for tracking ordnance.
2. Experience in receipt, issue, inventory, record keeping, and reporting of ammunition asset movement at both the local and worldwide level via
computer system.
3. Experience packaging and certifying explosive shipments for transport worldwide via truck, ship, or plan per CFR-49.
4. Experience in communicating clearly with others verbally and in writing.
5. Experience scheduling and performing monthly physical inventories and storage inspections of assets located in magazines and ordnance
production buildings, recording and verifying inventory records against asset records and resolving discrepancies.
6. Experience troubleshooting and repairing submarine defensive ordnance systems, AN/BST1 and countermeasure acoustic systems, MK-48
ADCAP systems, and tomahawk capsule/tube launcher components.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
OR
Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
