You will serve as a INVESTIGATOR (COMMAND) in the ???????FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST, COMMANDING OFFICER, INSPECTOR GENERAL OFFICE of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will analyze complex and interrelated functions within a multi-mission activity. You will recommend and impart appropriate solutions. You will build relationships with several layers of command management in order to achieve policy driven outcomes. You will document issues in a manner which can impart action by others to take corrective action and achieve issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: Conducting investigations that cover a diverse range of subjects, complaints and allegations pertaining to any and all types of possible violations in areas such as operations, logistics, finance, training, contract administration, procurement, personnel policies, public information, safety, reprisal, etc.; Recording, reviewing, investigating and analyzing external and internal concerns relating to alleged inappropriate behavior that includes fraud, waste, abuse, violations of law, rules or regulations, and/ or mismanagement of government resources, including individual concerns; Utilizing federal budgeting processes, accounting procedures, contracting, supply and procurement processes, as well travel (DTS) and personnel management processes and procedures; Performing complex professional review activities involving the analysis of the records, procedures and processes; and Monitoring implementation of appropriate laws, directives, and regulations of programs and procedures to ensure there are no vulnerable areas.
