Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist within the FAA, Western Service Area Technical Operations, Logistics Program at the District level.

Duties

Performs a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
• Interviews will be conducted IAW FAA Policy and/or applicable Bargaining Unit Agreement
• This position is Part-Time, 32 hours per week

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-G, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level/grade of FV-F, FG/GS-5-9. (Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/SEC-IV/A/gs-admin.asp, for more information) in the Federal Service.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

Education

EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION:

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree.
