The Clerk position is located in the Immediate Office of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia Courts. The position supports various operational activities by providing primary telephone coverage, assisting in other immediate office functions and providing support for all Judges’ chambers, including but not limited to the onboarding and exiting of judicial staff, ordering supplies, and providing logistics for chambers set-ups, moves and events.

- A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 6: A high school diploma plus two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience in an office environment, with the ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 7: A high school diploma plus three (3) years of administrative or clerical experience in an office environment; or an Associate's degree plus at least one (1) year of administrative or clerical experience in an office environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 8: A high school diploma plus four (4) years of administrative or clerical experience in an office environment; or an Associate's degree plus two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience in an office environment; or a Bachelor's degree.
