Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment not to exceed 2 years by a current permanent Army Employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a TERM appointment not to exceed 2 years, if candidate is NOT a current permanent Army employee. TERM appointments may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.

Duties

Researches, coordinates, and prepares programs of instruction (POIs) for expeditionary civilians throughout Department of Defense and Department of Army. Delivers professional quality instruction through lecture conferences, guided discussions, practical exercises, case studies, and seminars. Develops and implements solutions to problems which affect AECW training requirements, policies, and regulations. Anticipates changes and new developments in technology and develops advance plans to insure timely introduction of new or revised procedures, techniques, or operational concepts into the training program.

• Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• May require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 15% of the time.
