DCSA's Office of Program Executive Office (PEO) is seeking a Supervisory Management Analyst to assist PEO staff in management planning, policy and decision-making sessions. Analyzes issues, goals, and initiatives. Recommends options during managerial planning and policy formulation. As a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST you will be responsible for the following duties:

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade (GS/GG- 13) in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: serving as a functional lead, expert analyst or technical advisor for interdisciplinary project teams to evaluate program operations, identify and articulate issues, recommend solutions in a clear, concise manner to senior executive-level audiences; conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive operating programs that requires applying knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques along with knowledge of the mission, organization, and work processes of the programs. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1.Planning and Evaluating - Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes. 2.Technical Competence - Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues. 3. Developing Others (Leadership) - Develops the ability of others to perform and contribute to the organization by inspiring and providing a learning environment of ongoing feedback and opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods, enabling employees to address skill gaps and realize their highest potential. Actively encourages and supports enhancement of a joint perspective. 4. Teamwork - Encourages and facilitates cooperation, pride, trust, and group identity; fosters commitment and team spirit; works with others to achieve goals. 5. Decision Making- Makes sound, well-informed, and objective decisions; perceives the impact and implications of decisions; commits to action, even in uncertain situations, to accomplish organizational goals; causes change.
