About the Position:
This position is with the 99th Readiness Division, Business Operations Integrity Branch, Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at Fort Dix, NJ.
The Directorate of Public Works is a regionally aligned organization focused on providing efficient and timely Facility Operations, Real Property Management, Engineering and Environmental support for all facilities and real property within the RD region in support of unit training, administration, and readiness operations.
Duties
Provide programming, manpower, and budget analyses relating to the Directorate of Public Works (DPW).
Develop and evaluate budgetary data required for overall management and policy-making recommendations.
Coordinate the requirements of financial management to insure adequate and timely support of readiness operational requirements to meet assigned and planned missions, day-to-day operations, and newly assigned or high priority missions.
Accomplish special studies, duties, and supplemental missions to include planning and coordinating the preparation and maintenance of special cost studies for presentation to higher headquarters.
Create, modify, and interpret Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Intelligence (BI) reports in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
Exercise limited supervisory responsibilities of teams and work groups within the Division.
Requirements
- DoD Financial Management Certification Program - Level 2.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE Form 450) upon entry, and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes working with automated software for asset and financial management such as the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to include creating, modifying and interpreting reports; using automated systems to research fund execution transactions and disbursement activity; preparing budget estimates, justification statements, and budget execution plans for substantive programs; compiling cost figures to be used in forecasting funding needs and monitoring the rates of obligation and expenditure of funds in the annual budget; making detailed analysis for additional funding support on programmed and un-programmed activities; and determining validity of justification, capability to accomplish within existing funded program, and need for additional funds.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-11).
